Audit Service:

Comairco offers an audit service. An audit consists of an analysis of the compressed air system.

The analysis is generally done over a full week, but we have the capability to do it over two weeks. The analysis includes:

• Air flow (SCFM) of each air compressor and energy consumption (KW).
• Air pressure at compressor’s discharge .

Options:

• Extra pressure points. ( Dryer differential, critical point, receivers etc.…).
• Air flow meter (Pitot tube) for local flow.
• Dew point and temperature.

The report includes graphics (see examples) and some analysis allowing understanding of system’s behavior . Recommendations to improve your compressed air system performances and efficiency are provided in order to save energy.

The audit is essential to size an optimal compressor or receiver.

The audit is required by most of utility providers (such as Hydro Québec) in order to validate financial aid when energy saving programs are offered.
